Dear John, Pam, Ron, and families,
I have such happy memories of your Dad. He was always positive. When I was little, we lived next to your grandparents house in Justice. I remember your mom (as a high schooler!) practicing baton. I think she was the drum majorette at Argo.
Pinky, (who was always “in the pink”, right? )came over on a motor scooter one time and gave each of us a ride. I’d never been on the back of a scooter and I held on for all I was worth!
Pinky was baptized, as an adult, at Zion, Summit. It was after the service. Being baptized as an adult is special because he was making a public confession of his faith in Jesus Christ. And Romans 10:9 says: “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved “ Such blessed assurance that he is in heaven!!
One of the sweetest memories I have, of both your parents really, was a couple of years ago at a Bozec Family Christmas. We we’re getting ready to leave. Your dad was getting the car and your mom was waiting inside the door. We were visiting and your Mom said, “Pink has taken such good care of me!” With that, your dad drove up, came around and opened the door, and they were off. They were a special couple. And your dad was an incredibly great man. May God bless you all.
You have my deepest sympathy and my prayers.
Sincerely, Linda VonBehren
