To a lot of us, Mr. Soltis was another dad we had the pleasure of having...and that’s why we called him Dad. And if he really liked you, he called you son...A man’s man. He tought us what had work was and how to have a good time at Antioch, Super Bowl, Bears games, watching the Cubs and my favorite watching wrestling with him and Bobby in the basement!!!!!
I am honored to have had him in my life. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Not once did he tell you how he was doing first ... he ALWAYS wanted to know what was going on with you and your family. A Great man has gone to better place. Where for sure he is telling God how to fix something in heaven followed by the “Huh!”... Love you dad. The Rock aka Richie

It was with great sadness when we received the news that our long-time friend passed. Also, in a sad way, it was a relief that he didn’t have to suffer due to lack of oxygen.
Although Bob was never in the Service, the great Marine saying “Semper Fi” would sum up his existence in our lives.
Bob was a Dear Friend and the entire Soltis family was like a second family to us.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Bob will be greatly missed by all. He was a kind and generous man. We send our prayers to the Soltis family in hope that you may find comfort in the fact that Bob is with our Lord and at peace
