Robert J. "Big Bob" Seaton, U.S. Army Veteran, born in Covington, Tennessee and long time Chicago resident. Beloved husband of Patricia Anne (nee Siwek). Loving father of Robert, Patricia (Jack), Troy, and April (Michael). Doting and cherished grandfather of Jasmine Rangel.
Son of the late Shiley and Pearl (nee Kemp) Seaton. Loving brother of the late Virginia, Thomas, Gladys, Gene, and Mildred, and surviving sister Carmie. Fond uncle to many nephews and nieces.
Big Bob will always be remembered as a tough, strong hard working family man, who instilled the highest values in al all those who knew him. Known for his incredible generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a fierce protector of all that he loved, and a true rock to lean on in times of trouble.
Successful entrepreneur, self made man, and owner for over 60 years of Bob Seaton and Son City Wide Sewer Service, partnering with his wife, affectionately known as Patty Anne, in which he named after his son Troy, who runs his business today. Bob built a strong reputation over many years with his customers and employees. He was always known for his honesty and ability to get the job done. He always helped many who were out of work, and giving them a chance at gainful employment, and teaching them the profession.
A man who traveled around the country since the age of 18, working practically in every state of the United States, while becoming a man that everyone wanted to know and depend on.
He had an infectious sense of humor and laugh, while at the same time exhibiting a true working man's ethic. Incredible storyteller, and known for his beautiful singing voice and love of Country and Blues music.
Big Bob was a huge Chicago Sports fan, and was extremely happy to see the Chicago Cubs win the 2016 World Series.
