Maria Bujalski

September 11th, 2019

Maria Bujalski, Age 69, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 11th, 2019 at her home in Palos Hills. She was born on March 8, 1950 in Pilica, Poland to father, Eugeniusz and mother, Janina.

Maria grew up with an appreciation of plant life, inheriting her mother's green thumb, and eventually earned a Master's Degree in Horticulture from AGH University in Poland. After emigrating to the United States, Maria met her husband, Jarosław. Together they had two sons, Tomasz and Mateusz. Maria then earned a Nursing Degree while raising her two boys--studying nights at Morton College and working days.

Maria began working at St. Joseph's Medical Center as a heart surgery nurse, a point of pride for both her and her family. Maria cherished her job there, for the rewarding work but perhaps more for the many nurses and doctors that soon became close friends.

Maria was an avid reader, enjoyed working in her garden, loved to travel, but most of all she appreciated the time spent with her close friends and family. A warm, soft-spoken, kind and humble person, she will be deeply missed by all those that have met her.

She is survived by her husband Jarosław, sons Tomasz (Magdalena) and Mateusz, grandson Adam, sister Anna and brother Michał.

Visitation, Sunday, September 15, 2019, 3:00PM to 9:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.

Condolences

Składamy wyrazy najszczerszego współczucia i żalu .
a najlepsze dni dają wspomnienia"
