Frances Marian Marcinowski (nee Shemaitis) of Central Stickney, age 92, was born April 30, 1927, in Chicago to Frank and Julianna Shemaitis. Her late husband, Frank died 6 years previously. Frances grew up in Chicago and attended Immaculate Conception School and Kelly High School in Brighton Park.
Frances worked as a wire and solderer for Delco Radio, a division of General Motors, and was an immaculate homemaker. She lived in Willow Springs, IL and Las Vegas, NV during her last years of her life with her daughter Karen and son-in-law Ken. Frances fed and clothed the children of Central Stickney who were less fortunate.
Surviving children are Karen (Ken) Rimkus, Willow Springs, IL. and Las Vegas, NV. and her younger daughter Kimberly (Randy) Koss of Valparaiso, IN. Frances's grandchildren are Kristin (Dale) Osterkamp and Kyle Rimkus, Elliot Koss and Tyler Koss. Great grandchildren are Brooke and Paige Osterkamp.
Interment will be at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, 4401 West 111TH St., Chicago, IL
